Keep it fresh
Like plenty of other dried products, once you open your matcha it will start to lose its potency and strength. This is why recommend consuming your matcha within 6 weeks of opening. You may enjoy your matcha after this but it just helps to keep it fresh.
The easy way
1. Add 1/2 a tsp (around 1g) of matcha into a mug.
2. Add a couple teaspoons of water & mix to create a paste.
3. Now fill your mug with hot/warm water.
The traditional way
Keep the water hot
Matcha is great to enjoy both hot or cold, but no matter the temperature that you want to drink it at, you need the water to be warm/hot when you make it. This is simply because the powder will dissolve best in warm/hot water, leaving you with a smooth result.
Give it a sift
Another way to make sure that you don’t have a lumpy tea is to sift all the powder. You can do this with a tea strainer and simply tip your matcha into the strainer, pushing it through with a spoon.
Mix it up
