Chocolate Matcha Twists

Recipe

  • Puff Pastry Sheet
  • 2 tsp PureChimp Matcha
  • 100g Dark Chocolate
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1tsp Ground Cardamom
  • 1 Egg
  • Sugar

Directions

1.Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

2.Roll out the pastry and sprinkle over the Matcha green tea. Rubbing into the pastries surface. 

3.Melt the dark chocolate and mix in both the ground Cardamom and Cinnamon.

4.Spread this chocolate mix over half the pastry and fold over to create a sandwich.

5.Using a pizza cutter, cut this pastry sandwich into strips around 3cm wide.

6.Twist and place on the lined baking tray. 

7.Brush the twists with a beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar and bake in the oven for around 15 minutes.
