Whilst we know that simply enjoying a cup of matcha is enough for some people (and when it tastes so good who can blame them?) But there are other ways that you can enjoy your daily matcha and mix up your intake a bit.

One delicious and healthy way to enjoy your daily intake of matcha is within a smoothie; the other ingredient that you add in depends on your own tastes and preferences. If you are struggling for inspiration for your next recipe then perhaps we can help.

So what does this magical smoothie contain apart from our little green vegetable friend?

Well keeping on the green theme we recommend that you also chuck 1/2 tsp of our high quality matcha green tea in too. That’s not it though; open up your blender and also add:

1 large banana

2 table spoon of plain probiotic yoghurt

½ teaspoon of  ground ginger

2 teaspoon honey

Finish it off with 1 and a half cups of either coconut milk, almond milk, soya milk or perhaps even coconut water. Once you have added all those ingredients into the mix it is time to get blending; give them a whizz, pour them into a glass and enjoy. Delicious, healthy and oh so easy to make.
